Final Group formation

Introduction

Day 14

I have chosen to create a film opening for component one with three other classmates. My group consists of Danielle Stephens, Quiana Lanier, and Jaliyah Washington one of my team members is a transferred student, and two other close classmates with whom I share the schedule.  As soon as we became a team, we worked on almost all of the assignments together I think we easily clicked when it comes to ideas. Our group is very consistent when it comes to ideas, and for that reason, I think creating the movie opening might be an easy project if we manage to stay on task at all times while everyone contributes. So far, I can say our movie idea sounds nice now we just waiting to learn more about how to put our idea into action. And together we chose the name Jack O'Hollow for our movie production company we came up with this idea while thinking about the kind of genre we could work with best. Having that being said Jack o' Hollow seems like it matches well with a horror film.

The types of genres I prefer to consume are action, romance, and adventure. Some of my favorite movie themes are survival, redemption, and personal growth. My favorite movie is Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017), a group of teenagers got transported inside a video game and they had to figure out how to exit the game before they got trapped and died in it. Each character has their own strength that they contribute to the team. One thing that caught my attention while I was watching the movie was the actors acting. The actors' acting was so on point that Kevin Hart played the character Franklin Finbar a character full of humor. Other mise en scene elements that the producer uses to engage me in the movies are the set design and the props. For instance, in the movie, some of the props they use are a diamond (the jaguar's eye), dice, and weapons which help keep the movie thrilling and exciting. My favorite set design in the movie was the tiger-shaped mountain it helps emphasize danger, strength, and adventure in the movie which kept the audience entertained. One thing I learned from this movie is that even though one might have the best talent or strong ability, sometimes it takes another's talent to sharpen your own especially when you start to lose hope. With that being told me and my group sort of have similar tastes in movies, they enjoy most of the genres I've consumed the only genre that sets us apart is horror, especially supernatural horror nope nope However it is less fear having to be the one to create it.

Reflection

My group members' strength is reliability all of us share this strength whereas if work needs to be done we are all reliable enough to get it done, we balance each other out to get most of every work done. One method we use is to split and team up. Everyone gets assigned a part of the assignment to make sure it is completed however, if help is needed, we all team up to help get the assignment completed even if it takes extra hours, in return we all get the opportunity to learn about everything. To make sure we are all on the same page we always communicate in the classroom and outside of school. Sometimes it is a small summary of what we need to do. To make sure we use our time wisely also create a group chat so we can stay in touch even when we are not in school.
