Sound Editing
Day 34
Introduction
Welcome back to another adventure of editing my little Alakazam. This time instead of visual editing we will talk about sound editing. That sound like music to my ears. Sound editing is the process of selecting, combining and improving the quality of a sound in a video. There are multiple type of sound editing but the one we will be focus on for today is Dialogue editing, Sound effect, Music editing and Automate dialogue replacement (ADR). After analyzing our opening film, we realize the audio definitely needed some work and some way we improve was using those method mentioned above. In our film opening we use dialogue and ADR to make sure the voice was clear and loud for the audience, in addition to that we add some music and sound effect this help engage the audience more into our film opening. For instance, the genre for our movie genre is horror slasher some sound effect use was "hit", and we use horror song with an eerie music box melody this help add suspense thrilled experience. We use this sound in order to get a positive reading from the audience
Reflection
similar to our visual editing we also use CapCut for the sound editing, the device we use for this was our cellphone. We were able to make lot of improvement using this app together it made our broken piece video look like an opening of a movie. I still believe there is room to improve on our movie but it still the best thing we ever made this is soon to be our draft we will continues to look at ways to improve our film opening.
